Rotten Halo combines everyday, comfortable clothing with original hand illustrated artworks for our dark street wear collection.

The acclaimed tattoo artist “Matina Macabre ” contributed one of her dark designs titled “Seinaru Ningyo” for our brand.

This is a special edition of our favorite design printed with metallic blue ink. 

"Seinaru" means sacred in Japanese. "Ningyo" (or "human fish", often translated as "mermaid") is a fish-like creature from Japanese folklore. In ancient times, it was described as a creature with small teeth, similar to a fish, shining golden scales, and a quiet voice, akin to the sound of a flute. Catching a "Ningyo" was believed to bring about storms and general misfortune, so fishermen who caught these creatures were said to throw them back into the sea. Our "Seinaru Ningyo" design depicts an ancient, mystical and dauntless creature that cannot be captured and afflicted by humans.

Individually stenciled via a premium silkscreen process done exclusively by hand, onto high quality zipper hoodies. All our inks are water-based and eco friendly, free from harmful, toxic chemicals.

Designed, sewed and printed by hand in Greece fair trade.
